Hello, a quick and adaptable card/canvas from ‘The Making Lady’ from the North East of Scotland.
Leonie was so clever in designing this stencil, it may be adapted and indeed added to in so many ways. The print featured in the photo here was number two in a series of seven, all from one application of embossing powder and pigment powders. They are all different, some lend themselves to additional colouring with pencils or pens, some are spritzed with water to a greater degree and thus create a more water-colour effect. Try it and let your imagination explode!
Dab chosen side of stencil with embossing ink pad. Apply pigment powders and spritz with water.
Sandwich between stencil card and run through die-cutting machine to emboss and distribute colour. (Spritzing and embossing may be repeated several times to clean colour from stencil and also create prints to be reserves for other projects.)
Spritz chosen print lightly with water. Allow to dry naturally or dry with heat gun.
Layer onto card blank.
Stamp flowers and leaves from Pink Ink Giraffe set on coloured scrap card, trim (decoupage areas if desired) and add to image.
Stamp glasses from Giraffe set, add glossy accents to lenses. Allow to dry then trim. (I added ‘Paradise’ with Micron pen prior to adding Glossy Accents.)
