Hello again everyone. Welcome to the Hochanda Blog. Today I’m writing my first review on Pink Pig Art journals. I know that many of you will have seen and heard Leonie talking about pink pig art journals. Jo was recently on demonstrating how amazingly brilliant they are. They are made with removable pages and really good quality paper. I have thrown all sorts at it including gesso, sprays, inks, water and it reacts differently every time. I’ve only really just started playing with them and I cannot wait to really get going with them. I saw Jo’s shows first a few months ago and thought “wow, they are amazing”. These journals are available in all sorts of sizes and you can do such amazing things with them. I really cannot say how amazing the quality of the cardstock is even in the small 4 inch size it’s the exact same quality as the 12×12. Recommended by universities to their students, you can see why.  The quality just speaks for itself.

I got my first one at my Hochanda Dream Day and got “introduced” to journaling by Leonie, I’ve made some pages out of rice paper and some of the backgrounds we made during the day using Distress Oxide inks. I’ve stamped over the top of mine using Bee Crafty Beautanical stamps which are really excellent quality. Just had a bit of a play really have no where near scratched the surface on what you can do or throw at them.

I would most definitely advise everyone to get hold of one or two, available in black or white paper and on Freedom Member discount. Why not give it a go and have a try at art journaling. Have fun.
